As a fan of Arsenal, I genuinely don’t understand why so many people keep finding reasons to criticize this team.

Look at the facts. We’re competing strongly in the UEFA Champions League and leading the Premier League. Results-wise, this is exactly where any top club wants to be. So what’s the problem?

Yet somehow, you still hear “experts” and rival fans constantly downplaying Arsenal. Now the narrative is that we’re just a “set-piece team” or that our football isn’t “beautiful” enough. Seriously?

Let’s not forget—when Arsenal were playing beautiful, free-flowing football, people said we were “too soft” and “all style, no substance.” Now that the team has added efficiency, physicality, and the ability to win ugly when needed, suddenly that’s a problem too?

So which is it?

It feels like no matter what Arsenal do, it’s never enough for some people. If we play attractive football, we get criticized for lacking results. If we grind out wins and dominate set pieces, we get labeled as boring.

That’s football, I guess—but it’s frustrating.

From where I stand, this team has evolved. Under Mikel Arteta, Arsenal have become more complete, more mature, and more capable of actually winning things. Isn’t that the whole point?

At the end of the day, results matter. If Arsenal are winning, competing, and improving, I’ll take that over outside opinions every single time.

Still… I just don’t get why it’s never enough.

But once the manager changed to Carrick, the performances immediately looked different. The tempo improved, the defensive structure looked more compact, and even the attacking movement seemed more coordinated.

So what actually changed?

Was it tactical tweaks? Dressing room atmosphere? Or simply a psychological reset after the previous manager left?

As a football fan watching from Southeast Asia, I’m saying this loud and clear:

Arsenal will win the league this season.

Not hype. Not bias. Just facts from what we’re seeing on the pitch.

Arsenal look different this year. The mentality is stronger. The squad depth is better. They’re not just playing beautiful football anymore — they’re playing smart, controlled, and ruthless football.

Under Mikel Arteta, this team has matured. You can see the tactical discipline. They manage big games well, and more importantly, they don’t drop silly points against smaller teams — that’s championship mentality.

From our side in Southeast Asia, staying up late to watch matches isn’t easy 😅 but this Arsenal team makes it worth it. The energy, the pressing, the confidence — it feels like a title-winning season.

Yes, the season is long. Injuries, fixture congestion, maybe European competitions could affect them. But honestly:

City looks slightly vulnerable.

Liverpool is still rebuilding.

Others? Not consistent enough.

So I’ll say it again: This is Arsenal’s year.
